Thank you for your interest in writing ballot arguments for the 2022 election. These ballot arguments are vital to educating the voters. The Secretary of State’s office sends out a publicity pamphlet with all submitted ballot arguments to every registered voter about a month before the election.

 The cost of submitting a ballot argument is $75. The Ballot Measure Committee is willing to sponsor some arguments that will include a disclaimer that it is being “sponsored” by the committee.  It would be favorable if there were a variety of arguments received from individuals as well as those sponsored by the club to not appear skewed. Volume matters!

We have included information that we went over in the in-person and online events we held on 5/18.
